The Sting II: 2010

Sunday 21st brings with it the second running of The Sting where the University of Bath Killer Bees American Football team will face the University of Bristol Barracuda.

Following the success of the event last March, attended by over 200 spectators, The Sting promises once again to be a fantastic occasion, with live commentary, scoreboard, raffle, cheerleaders and hot & cold food and drink available throughout.

Mid-season Review

The Killer Bees enter 2010 with a 2-2 record after a slow start to the season left them with back to back defeats against two rival Bristol sides. However, resurgence followed with encouraging performances against Warwick and Aberystwyth, and the Bees look to resume after the Christmas break and make a push to post-season football once more.

With the arrival of the new intake of students at the University of Bath having commenced over weekend just passed, recruitment activities are now well underway for the Bath Killer Bees as they look to build the squad, both on and off the field, which will lead them to another successful season.

Countdown to the New Season...

The announcement of the provisional regular season fixtures for the 2009-2010 BUAFL season marks the start of the University of Bath Killer Bees’ preparation to regain the Division crown that they surrendered last season, as they also look towards a push for the National Title.
